Glog: Let's Learn About Orion's Nebula

I like stars and other objects of a stellar orientation very much, so I decided instead of my first glog being yet another self-introduction, I would make a glog about Orion's nebula. It's very science orientated, but nebula's are cool.

Well, I tried to embed my glog, but the coding either isn't compatiable or simply wasn't working. Here's a link to my first glog.

  1. I definitely catch your drift on Nebula's and the universe. Your Glogster gave a great representation of that. Maybe you already have, but if you havent you should really check out some pictures of the "Eagle Nebula" as well. Astronomers say that our entire solar system could fit inside of one of the tiny little "eggs" in the pictures.
Talking about the birthplace of stars is astonishing to me. With our current propulsion technology it would take around 10,000 years to get to the nearest star to us, Proximal Centauri. In a galaxy with billions of stars I guess feeling so small and insignificant in the grand scheme of things, in a weird way helps me enjoy my life more, by realizing that nothing in this life is that bad. And to understand its finiteness better and live happy everyday :-)
